My dear friend Liv Thomas is the creator of Table Top Joy, a project founded on the purpose of giving vintage and salvaged textiles another life. She creates some beautifully unique pieces (including an epic extendable 2m long table cloth), which are not only derived from her inventive ideas but also from her exceptional eye for collecting.
In January, Liv and I spent a sun dappled afternoon down at the Merri Creek with some textiles she had sourced during her short time back in Melbourne. I photographed her playing around with the pieces in the creek side setting with the intent to capture her - as an artist, in a creative space - with her passion that is, Table Top Joy.
