A peak into the scenes of The Social Studio, a community created with the vision to "embrace up-cycled fashion as a vehicle for social change and uplift youth from migrant and refugee backgrounds."
The studio is found in a top floor building of the Collingwood Yards with their shop below at street level. I photographed them on a Friday afternoon during their open community sewing sessions. The images were used for their feature in the 2023 PICK-ME-UP, a publication by Melbourne Agency, Good One Creative.
